Merc to force basstracker controls

Was wonder if the controls from a 60hp MERC would bolt TO A 40hp FORCE the controls are on a 1989 17' BASSTRACKER. iF ANY OF YOU FORCE,MERC people know this I would really like to know. Thanks to all that apply

i wouldn't think so, but i dont know for sure since they're different hp. i could be wrong though.
