The screws all look the same. There should be NO pivot screw on your case to worry about.

TMD

Dont let changing your lower unit oil fool you. Notice that the plugs are very small. To drain your lower unit, remove the top vent screw, have a glass jar ready, and remove the bottom drain screw near to your skeg, catch your oil in your glass jar. It dont hold much oil so dont worry. Look at your oil and see if its a milky color, if it is, you may have a bad prop seal and water is getting in your unit.
Ok, heres the tricky part. Notice that the marine lower unit oil bottle has a tip on it, cut the tip open on the very tip, you gotta cram that tip in your drain hole. Yes, place the tip of the bottle in the bottom drain hole, hold it up in there tight, and squeeze, squeeze, squeeze until the oil starts coming out of the top vent hole. Now, while keeping the bottle squeezed, take the top vent hole plug and screw it back in there. Once plugs tight, the suction will kinda keep the oil from running out the drain hole long enough for you to screw the drain plug back in.
I had to find out the hard way the first time I did it, thought I could just fill it like putting oil in a car or something.
By the way, make sure your motor is down, not up so the lower unit gear case is even. You will only use not even 1/2 bottle, it dont hold that much oil at all. Just for the heck of it, I always change out mine every 3 fishing trips because I have a slow leak in my unit, I dont feel like fixing it yet. Have fun :D

Oh yeah, by the way, heres good food for thought for your new motor. Go to your local parts store and buy you a little inexpensive fuel filter and some hose clamps to add to your fuel line somewhere.Make sure to buy one that will fit your fuel line. Its good to add it just before the line hooks up to your fuel tank. Alot of problems happen to motors where small pieces of trash get clogged on your carborator jets and will mess you all up. A small inline fuel filter will prevent this.
I got more advise if you want it, just let me know, I'll give it to ya.
