Mercarb Float Needle -- which one is this?

I am changing the float in my 1986 Sea Ray 19' BR with Merc 470 (A679763) and 2 barrel Mercarb. The manual has 2 different float levels: 1) 3/8" for two piece solid; and 2) 9/16" for spring loaded.

I just want to make sure -- which one is this? There is a spring, but it is still a 2 piece.



The guy who rebuilt it last year had it set at 3/8".

Thanks Bond-o. That might explain part of my flooding/warm start issues then. It has been set 3/16" too low.
