MerCarb identification - date of manufacture

Does anyone know how to decipher the date stamp embedded in the numbers stamped on the side of a MerCarb? I'm trying to ascertain whether or not the original owner of my boat replaced the carb sometime within the last few years. I have a 1992 3.0L Mercruiser (S/N: 0D805131) breathing through a 2-bbl. MerCarb (9562) with the following numbers stamped into the carb housing:<br /><br />9562A-2<br />1X03<br /><br />The "1X03" is the date stamp (I'm pretty sure) - anyone have a line on the decryption?

First figure is the year-91<br />Second is the month--Oct<br />third is the day--03
