Mercarb question....

I recently rebuilt my Mercarb and when I checked the general operation of it the throttle seems to be a bit on the stiff side and sticks a little bit, any suggestions on how to make it a bit more smooth. I really haven't alot of experience with the Mercarb, any help and info would be helpful. Any adjustments other than the needle adjustment? 2bbl on a 470

I always put a shot of oil on the throttle shaft when I rebuild one. Makes it pretty smooth.

BTW always use the stiffer spring on the accelerator pump plunger.
