mercontrol question - removing handle

I need to get the handle off to replace my mercontrol box with a different one...at least I assume so. I cannot get the cams off to remove the throttle cable. On a previous boat, there was a screwed in the handle and this doesn't have that. What the heck and I missing?
I've looked all over online and here, but I just don't see what I need to do to remove the cams from the handle shaft.

Cam just pulls out once the handle is removed. If the crew that holds the handle in place is removed, the handle pulls out. May need some force to pull out - it's tapered in there. Once the cam is out of the way, you can remove the pins that hold the cables in place.

How do I get the handle off though? That's where I'm stuck. There's no screw at the base of the handle, where it connects to the control box.

Thank you for your reply. I'm sure it's something simple I'm just not seeing

No Title

Picture added of handle. Not sure what I'm missing. The silver speck is just missing paint

The screw holding the handle is on the back side of the controller. Don't feel bad I searched online for a week looking for a controller that would mount on the left side of a boat.

He already had the screw removed (first photo, first post, empty hole in the middle of the splined circle), but the handle was likely stuck and just needed some gentle persuasion and colorful language to pop out.
