4200-4600 rpm. Full tune up dwell set. use a gps to verify speed, and beg borrow a shop tach, to verify rpm.

There is a filter in the fitting that enters the carb, there is a filter in the fuel pump and the pickup tube might have a screen on it.

The anti-syphin valve if the fitting that enters the tank, you should pull the valve and check the vent. Me i would suck all the gas out of the tank and start with clean fuel.

19 would be all around prop, 17 would probably work for skiing, a 15 would get you out of the hole for sure but you would run 25 mph or so and watch your rpm. yours is running at the best that it can @37. my brother in law just told me the other day he has never seen a fg 120 run faster then 35, my aluminum 18 runs around 40 guessing as i have no speedo. my rpms 3800, which is on the low side of sugg. 3800-4200.
