Mercruiser 140HP

I am cleaning out a garage at a house that I bought and found a complete Mercruiser 140HP engine sitting on a skid. I do not know the condition of the engine, but it appears to be intact (see pics). I did find a pile of various out-drive components and several differently pitched props as well, so i am assuming that the engine is good and it was pulled out of a boat that had a damaged out-drive. I have no use for the engine and was curious as to how old it might be and if it might be worth anything, and if so how much. I am also curious about the value of any of the out-drive parts and props. Serial number on the engine tag is S#3412837. Thanks everyone.

Ayuh,... The motor, as it sets might be worth $500. or Less,... If you can find somebody who Needs it...
With a compression test,+ verification that it's a Runner...
You'll get the $500.,+ possibly More...

I sold a 120hp, Just like it, with a repaired cracked block, for $800. Cash...
But it was a plug & play Runner...And the guy was Desperate...

If you want to sell it, I would advise getting it running, make a video of it running. (You can see such on Youtube).

Without that, I wouldn't be a buyer.
