Alright boys and girls, I’m back to annoy the seasoned pros with my noobtacular inquiries.
I’m opting to save $100 and winterize myself for the frigid tundra that is set to befall Cleveland.
I drained both the block and manifold, but didn’t pull the plug from the riser. Wondering as long as I drain the water I won’t need to put antifreeze in, correct? As long as I’m certain any residual water has room to expand when frozen I’ll be OK, I just may experience some corrosion. Is that true? Any input here?
I also drained the gear lube to ensure it had no water and it was surprisingly in good condition as I had replaced several seals and was certain it still would get some water this season. Is it OK to leave the out drive empty or do I need to pump it back up?
Thank you as always.
