Hi all,

Alldodge, I actually like the PO and I feel like he didn't intentionally mislead me. I got the sense that he didn't know much about i/o motors either and probably genuinely didn't know that bellows need to be checked frequently. He probably thought that a few years old was pretty new. He definitely told me there was a leak, but thought it was one of the seams. I'm thinking honest mistake. He clearly wasn't trying to hide the leak, and if he knew how to fix it, why not just do it?

kenny: engine runs well, at least to my untrained senses. I'll check the boots when I take things apart. You're saying I should do that before buying a bellows kit?

Also, thanks for the tip on the pivot shaft pins. Exactly the kind of think I may have broken because I just didn't know!
