The 600cfm would be great for a 220hp application. I believe coast guard requires a spillover tube of sorts if the carb floods (float stuck) so you don't start a fire. Otherwise their shouldn't be any differences. <br /><br />The carb you have should be a rochester quadrajet. Its the most common GM carb. can be had off an 80-83 camaro/firebird/other rear wheel drive v8 car. You could then add the marine component to it. Don't pay more than 50.00 for one of these used.<br /><br />Whatever you do tho, please don't use a holley in a boat. With the reputation for fuel spraying, flooding, even with marine provisions it may be unsafe.<br /><br />-- Joe
