I see no P#, its kinda cramped back there. Lol. But it has a removable metal fuel bowl on the bottom w/ a filter in it. Do u think I could get an adjustable FP regulator from an auto parts store (if there is such an item)and plumb it inline

AllDodge you are awesome!!! I will try my local auto parts store to see if the have it or something similar. I am under a huge time constraint, Im taking the boat on vacation wed., so I dont have the time to order it online. I haven't even had this thing out for sea trails yet w/ the freshly rebuilt motor, ugh. Hopefully all goes well with the old girl! Thank you all so much for all the input!

If it starts and runs fine, run it on vacation, replace the pump later. worst that will happen is your plugs foul from too much gas.

Scott06, I'm thinkin the same. I may mess w/ it on vacation, whether I do the spacer on the pump or plumb in a pressure regulator. I'm not the sit still type especially if I know there is an issue with something. Thanks for your input! This forum is great! I read it often and everytime I do I always learn something!

Flooding problem solved!!!! I installed the new gasket/spacer on the fuel pump P# 21-8M0108647 and like magic no more flooding, boat starts normal, no more WOT starting. Boat is purring like a kitten. Now just some break in time on this fresh engine and hopefully just happy boating from this point on! Vacation saved!!!! I want to thank All on this forum for your time and expertise! I wish everyone a very safe and awesome 4th of July weekend. Thanks again!!!
