Just to update all I had my carb rebuilt by a local mechenic. Boat runs great now! Safe boating all and thanks for all the feedback!

I was just about to suggest a carb rebuild. Glad it worked out for you. I'm a fuel injection guy myself (I work on cars extensively) but finally bit the bullet and rebuilt mine. Boy, did it need it!
