Mercruiser 3.0L Chirping Noise

Hello All.
First post here on the iboats forum.
My 2002 Chaparral 180 with a Merc 3.0L has developed this chirping noise (Video link to Reddit Included) at idle. At higher RPMs the noise is not noticeable.
The only recent changes was a lower shift cable replacement.
Anyone have any ideas as to what to check?

Welcome.
Hard to say what it is.
I'd loosen or remove the belts and see if the noise goes away.
Might want to get this moved to the mercruiser section.

Check to see if shift cable routed correctly and not rubbing coupler
