Mercruiser 4.3L not ideling right

I have a 2006 Stingray with the Mercruiser 4.3L V6 carb'd engine. Within the past month I've noticed the idling isn't quite right. Everything is great at a cold start but as soon as it gets warmed up it will idle around 500 RPM's. According to the manual it should be anywhere from 600 to 750 after being warmed up (the book reads different in two sections). It causes the boat to feel like it's ready to cut off at any moment and makes it run rough meaning you can feel it while sitting in the boat. If I turn off the boat for a few minutes and restart it the RPM's will be around 300 RPM's for a second then slowly come up to 500 RPM's. Once you start to bring the boat up to speed it runs great. The problem only exists during a warmed up idle.

I replaced the spark plugs, checked the water/fuel filter for water (none found but emptied it anyway), cleaned the flame arrestor and cleaned the rotor contacts. This boat has 150 hours on it and that was the first time the rotor cap had been removed as the screws still had the paint intact.

What suggestions would you have. I'm worried about the oil pressure becoming a problem with such a low idle although according to the gauge it's fine. No lower than normal.

Ayuh,... It's probably some Crap in the idle circuit of the Carb....
Try some Seafoam or something,... Otherwise,.. Rebuild the Carb...
