How hard is it to swap a 454 mercruiser with a 383. It is a 1988 Liberator. Do they make a motor mount kit or do I even need one? Thanks for your help in advanced.

Last time I checked a 454 was a GM based engine and a 383 is a Chrysler. Completely different manufactures. So I would say Not interchangeable with out proper bellhousing.
If the 383 is a built Chev small block then you are OK.

383 CUBIC INCHES... 400 HORSEPOWER
6000 RPMs... 100% ATTITUDE!!
Barefooters, slalom skiers and wakeboarders will get a pure shot of adrenaline from this awesome remanufactured powerhouse! The perfect re-power option for tow boats presently using a 350 MAG MPI, 330 HP Black Scorpion or 454 MAG MPI. Applying our remanufacturing process to a MX 6.2 Black Scorpion, we have incorporated .030 over forged pistons, a more aggressive valvetrain and heavy-duty parts - creating a 400 horsepower juggernaut, matching anything found in a brand new boat!
