Hi,
I have a 470 that is giving me choke problems. It has an electric choke and starts OK, but when it warms up it dies as soon as you give it any gas. I am able to keep it running if I sit back at the motor and feather the butterfly by hand. I have limped back to the dock a couple of times this way.
It seems like the choke isnt sensing when the motor warms up and adjusting appropriately. I have looked at the wiring diagrams in my shop manual but cant seem to find where the choke is picking up its information about how hot the motor is.
Can anyone help me ?
Thanks
jon
