Mercruiser 5.0 tks, Serial#: 1A322719
the 20 amp fuse on the red-purple wire circuit leading from the 10 pin connector keeps 'blowing' and the motor cranks but won't start.... also, it ran fine prior to securing the blue wire to oil sending unit because It kept vibrating off and engine dying, so I pinched it more closed then re-connected the wire. Boat started fine, ran for a couple of minutes then fuse 'blew' and engine died. Every time I replace a fuse it sparks/blows, so there must be a short, but where do I start? Any help appreciated- thanks!
