Maybe somebody smarter than me can give you an explanation. I would think that if you don't have cooling water exiting through the exhaust manifolds you are asking for big trouble.

i see that no hoses are going to the manifold or risers that i can see in the photo maybe he unhooked them because they were leaking<br /><br />not being cooled is a big saftey problem the manifolds will get way to HOT i am suprised you rubber parts are not melting<br /><br />and uncooled manifold can start a fire or get hot enough to ingite fuel vapor very easy<br /><br />tommays

Yes Bondo, I'm sorry for any inconvenience but I'm in the process and have more questions forthcoming as well as information to add. I guess there are better ways to "mark" these threads for addendum, but I'm not creative that way.
