very important on the thread chaser i would never thought off that, what size for my bolt hole.

I don't know the head bolt thread size off the top of my head. But you can Google it or take one and match it up and go from there.

hello guys dont kno if i should start a new thread, anyway it turns out one of my cylinder head was shot and could not repair . the mashine shop doe not have one . the head casting number is 14092360 i need to know which other head can i match up with the original . does a 360 head the same as mines thanks,

Ayuh,.... This might help ya figure out exactly what ya need,...

Are yer heads oval intake ports, or the big squarish ports,..??

the one with the marker writing on the face is the exact one i have bondo.

ok guys am ready to install the heads, need a little info or advice.

1 the head gasket am using is fel-pro #17040 should i use some form of gasket spray or just install it just like it is?

2 i was told to torque the head bolts in three stages 20 50 80 lbs, is that correct??

3 i order new head bolts they came with some form of permatex already in the threads should i add more??

4 the serface off the block is clean the bolt hole are clean, shoild i tip some oil on the bolt threads.

ok am nervous but i am ready to put it back .
