Just wanted to post back with results. I had a pin hole that rusted through on my port side head. I didn't see it because I didn't remove the valves when I broke it down.

A new issue I'm experiencing is that I'm overheating when on the hose. I haven't had it out on the water since it's been rebuilt. It seems that my thermostat is opening at 160, but it just can't keep up for some reason. It will heat up to 160, sit there for a while (I can see it tick down a little bit intermittently for a few minutes) then it will slowly climb to 175 and I'm shutting it down at that point. I have new manifolds, risers, thermostat, thermostat housing, and impeller. The thermostat is new, and appears to be functioning, maybe not opening all the way for some reason???. Is it possible the water pump is bad? Not the impellar, but this part: http://www.boats.net/parts/search/M...705/210/WATER PUMP AND FRONT COVER/parts.html
