I am looking for the correct impeller kit for my Gen 2 out drive. The serial number is 0d899455, I have seen many part numbers and the all say they will work, but I am not sure. I am willing to get an aftermarket kit also if they are safe to use.

To quickly help with your question though....The only difference between the two part numbers is the branding package/container box each one comes in but both are a product of Mercruiser....One name brand is Quicksilver (Q) that comes in a silver package while the (K) letter/number comes in a Red/Black package.....Other than that there is no differences in parts.
