Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2 Impeller Kit

I am looking for the correct impeller kit for my Gen 2 out drive. The serial number is 0d899455, I have seen many part numbers and the all say they will work, but I am not sure. I am willing to get an aftermarket kit also if they are safe to use.

You're looking for water pump kit part number 817275Q05 or 817275K05. Both them numbers come with a new impeller housing.

If you don't want or need a new housing then kit number 47-43026K06 will do.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an aftermarket kit matching these numbers.

Hi there vsok , Welcome to iboats...First please know it's always recommended to create a new topic of your own vs bring up an archived topic that becomes older than 90 days.

To quickly help with your question though....The only difference between the two part numbers is the branding package/container box each one comes in but both are a product of Mercruiser....One name brand is Quicksilver (Q) that comes in a silver package while the (K) letter/number comes in a Red/Black package.....Other than that there is no differences in parts.
