Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2- Is it supposed to do this? (pics)

I just replaced the impeller. You can see the small holes on the top part of the lower gear box, the water coming out, this is happening on both sides.. everything seems to be running and cooling ok...

Ayuh,... Those are case drains, completely normal,.....
