Hey all, We have a 2007 Four Winns 260H that we love and is in great condition. We also have surfed a coupke of times and love it! With the release of the forward facing Bravo 4 how easy would a swap for our Bravo 3 be? Anybody know if they use the same transom assy?

I would contact Merc tech support and ask
My guess, since all Bravo's since 1995 will all have the same upper, and lowers swap without issue. Only issue to watch is gear ratio

has the forward facing dual props so you can safely wake surf behind it .
Like the VP forward drive it is a way for stern drives to get into the wake boat market that until now has been the realm of really expensive V drive boats .

to OP you want to think about what the draft would be if you have shallow water. With props in front and drive up you will draw way more water than the B3

so when you wake surf behind it and fall, you dont stick your face into the props when you go under the swim step

the main disadvantage is the deeper draft

Thanks for the info all, I will give tech support a call. I did see that the draft is deeper and that you can’t trim the drive up as high as our B3. The good thing is that the lake we boat on is deep with very few shallow areas and the boat sits on a lift so we don’t trailer it any more. I will update everyone when I talk to tech support

I would love to try it just cant afford the buy in. Neighbors at the lake have a 24 ft mastercraft, beautiful boat but outta my league $ wise

ive had fun with my kids and their friends wake boarding, which for a 50 yr old guy is painful. Added a tower, which helps to pull up large mamals, but thats about it for me…but completley different experience than lake trout fishing with my grandparents using a modified Victrola record player with copper wire....
