UPDATE:
Well the marina called and said they made a few adjustments (whatever that means, I'll get more details tomorrow) and they replaced a fitting between the engine coupling and the outdrive that had a "better fit". The rpm reving is fixed and they believe it's now time to find the right prop. They did make sure the prop was sitting correctly and there wasn't any venting (thanks for the suggestion!) On a sea trial the guy running the boat said he wasn't happy about having to go full throttle to get up on plane initially and wanted to try some other things. In my expirience I have always had to go tabs, trim down and full throttle then back off with a single engine, am I wrong about this? I just want to make sure I'm not wrong before I head down there tomorrow.
