Mercruiser Controls Question

I have a Merc 110Hp, my question is, is there any way to use a morse controls on the mercruiser? I have a parts boat that I got a Morse controls with (was connected to a Volvo). I know that the control cables won't work in my favour but can you get a set of cables that will connect to the Morse Controls and the Merc?

On a second note, are those Morse cables useless to me? Can they be modified with my old Merc controls to fit??? Possibly replace the ends on them?

Welcome to iboats.....
It should be doable, but you will most likely need new cables, there is no changing existing ends that I know of....
There might be a way to modify them though.....​

Using the file in the link below, the Volvo control probably uses the 633 cable, if so, there are kits available to convert the ends to other types of control boxes and engines.

if you have the 33c cable you can adapt them to just about any manufacturer with the end adapters don mentions
