anyone know how many blue drain plugs are on a 2003 6.2 litre mercruiser, i am only seeing 3 and someone told me there are 5

The common ones are block (2), exhaust manifold (2), and PS heat exchanger (1).
You should also pull the lower end of the large water pump hose.

Sounds like you have the multi-point drain system. If so, you should have two more plugs on the back of the water pump and cool fuel module; assuming you have that configuration. Anyways, the are really hard to see, but if you check your manual you will get an idea of where they are. You can also use your cell phone camera and stick it back there and snap a couple pictures, this helped me find mine.
