Mercruiser Lower unit, large shaft, dumb question....

I've got several old lower units from 470's, 260's and 140's. Out of stupidity and some weird luck I ended up with a couple that don't fit these outdrives. One is tagged "large shaft" and appears to be a fuzz shorter shaft... any idea what outdrives these little fellers might fit? Most of the old junkers I mess with are from the late 70's to early 80's. I'm ready to unload the whole pile.....

What is a 'fuzz shorter shaft"?......
If I'm not mistaken, some of the older ones had a shorter input shaft.....
Couldn't tell ya which ones though....
