It appears that my clutch dog/fwd gear maybe worn............does not seem to be an adjustment,

I have replaced gears in my last drive............but I got a quote from a local shop for ~$400 for a rebuilt lower............sounds like the way to go?

Just pulled the Grady yesterday............already looking forward to next spring.

Ayuh,....

How old is the lower Cable,..??

but I got a quote from a local shop for ~$400 for a rebuilt lower............sounds like the way to go?

The alternative is a SEI lower for about $600....
The $400. rebuilt is returning your drive as Core, Right,..??

It's getting so that much more than a Gasket/ Seal set is the upper limit of rebuilding an Alpha...
I've got a guy that charges me about $100./ $150. to go thru a drive,+ install the parts I deliver with the drive....
He's got 1 of mine now that needs an input yoke...
It's almost a toss up as to whether it's worth the price of the replacement parts,..??
