I know Ive read the answer to this here before and I am cross-eyed from reading and searching for the answer, so I am most reluctant to even inquire...(here goes)

1973 SeaRay SRV 220 22ft cuddy 188hp mercury / mercruiser outdrive ser # 3796890

which factory service manuals are reccomended ? Ive looked everywhere and due to the price, I want to make sure I get exactly what I need.

It's book #1, first Merc manual out for all 63 to 73 engines and drives.
The Merc part number is 90-68648

Keep your eye on ebay, they turn up now & then.....
I have the same, year, make & model....

If you come across manual #2, that will work just as well, too...
If ya need some help in the meantime, post it up!
