I cleaned out this pump and I had a buddy help wire it back up but my power gauge on the dash is not working right anymore and was wondering if someone can tell from these pics if we have the wires in the right spots, trim motor does work up and down...I think the last pick of the old sender is unhooked by previous owner,Thx for any help

I'm unable to understand where all the wires go. The pump is the older model Prestolite pump but it still works the same.

Not knowing what year your boat is I would say it should be wired as shown with 2 solenoids, not just one

Boat is about 76 with 302 Ford Mercruiser...thats the problem there is 1 solenoid and a whole bunch of wires, was working before I took the pump out...tried to get good pics but just have an old camera...thought maybe one or more wires is wrong... trim works but the gauge gets power and pins in the red on the gauge when you turn the key just before starting and stays there until you turn it off do that again and it drops to about half way or top of the green in the gauge...power there somewhere. Thx for looking

The one solenoid uses a different one then the one your showing

Might be a lot easier to just rewire for 2

Here is the one solenoid
