Hello All,

Last season, I had an issue where I tried to start the boat one day, and something 'clicked' somewhere and then nothing after that. The guages wouldn't move anymore when the key was turned to Run like they used to. The push button circuit breaker isn't tripped as well, and shows continuity when I checked it with my multimeter.

I am thinking I had a short somewhere which was the primary cause of this problem. My question is what else could have blown? I am looking for a fuse or something, but everything I have checked looks fine. Looking for some direction on this. I have a Seloc repair manual and a Clymer one as well. The wiring diagrams in them look pretty simple.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated,

Thank you!

First check the battery cable connections both pos. and neg.
Make sure there is 12V at the circuit breaker
Check the connections at the starter, thats where the power comes from.stud should have a main battery cable, a Red wire (main system power) and possably an Orange wire(alt feed)

have ya cleaned any of the terminal connections? starting with the battery terminals..
i go through mine ea. year. it's amazing how tarnished they get after only one years use. i start at the batt and then take any connections i can get to apart for cleaning with emery cloth..
don't forget to do the grounds too...
