Mercruiser serial number 2766408. Anybody have any info?

It doesn't come up at Merc, so its pretty old. If you say what size motor it is we might have a better chance

Bondo nailed it. 165 i6 70 model slickcraft ss-204. Not to attach a question to a reply but in my old boat with no added electronics is a 15 amp ignition switch heavy enough? Thanks all!

The 15A is sufficient because no other items are added to an ignition circuit.

Haha I love the honesty. Maybe you can point me into the direction of a wiring diagram for serial number on the engine is 2770131?
