I am finally getting around to my 4bbl swap and have run into a snag.

The engine is a 1976 Mercruiser 888- not stock- with a 2bbl Rochester 2GC.

The new carb is a Weber 4bbl that will sit on a stock Ford cast dual plane 4bbl intake and spacer.

My problem: the Rochester throttle linkage pushes to open the throttle, the Weber (and a Holley I looked at) pulls the linkage to open. There is a hole on the arm that would let me push, but it looks like it requires half the movement to open the throttle.

Can the Merc throttle handle be reversed?
