I had to replace everthing on my dual solenoid tilt/trim assembly. I bought new motor, 3-wire, and I used Autolite autmotive solenoids, which have an "S" and "I" terminals. My question is are grounds connected to the "I" terminals includeing the support frame for the solenoinds? I hookded the connector plug wires to the "S" terminals. In a automobile configuaration the "I" terminal usually goes to the ignition coil. Thanks, Ron
THIS IS THE TILT/TRIM THAT THE SELLER HAS JUST USED LAST WEEK!!!!
THIS IS THE WAY I HOOKED UP THE SOLENOIDS. (HOPE EVERYONE CAN TELL FROM THE PICTURES) The lower solenoid connection "I" terminal is actually a ground wire going to chasis ground. (Looks like a red wire but is really a black ground wire.)
