Mercruiser Tilt/Trim Motor Connections "HELP"

I had to replace everthing on my dual solenoid tilt/trim assembly. I bought new motor, 3-wire, and I used Autolite autmotive solenoids, which have an "S" and "I" terminals. My question is are grounds connected to the "I" terminals includeing the mounting frame for the solenoinds? I hookded the connector plug wires to the "S" terminals. In a automobile configuaration the "I" terminal usually goes to the ignition coil. Pictures are posted in the "Electrics/Electronics & Trolling Motors" forum. Thanks, Ron
