Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and boating in general. last year I bought a used 1993 Regal bow rider, I picked it up cheap as a fixer upper, she has "good bones" as they say! Since then I replaced the outdrive and just finished rebuilding the engine (3.0 Mercruiser), My question is which carb is a better option,The Mercruiser 2bbl or Rochester? I am currently having an issue w/ carb flooding. I had the Merc. carb rebuilt by a carb specialty shop last season. Post engine rebuild there is fuel dripping from the venturi when the engine is warm and shut down. I guess I shook some debris loose while installing or removing it. So, do I stay w/ the Merc carb and rebuild it again or is the Rochester a more reliable, desirable option? Thanks!
