would a 87 mercrusier prop fit on a later 90 alpha drive unit? would it require any special fittings?

ty---shaft, nut and washer should be the same. Make sure you have the right thrust washer on the shaft ahead of the prop.<br /><br />Diameter and pitch could be completely different---is it going on an Alpha leg with the same upper gear set and motor that was on the 87?
