hey everyone. Does anyone know the setting for dwell and timing for a 1989 Mercruiser 2.5L engine? I have misplaced my manual and am curious to know.

Thanks in advance.:$

Re: Mercrusier Timing

Thansk Don. I found out that the engine is hitting on only 3 cylinders so timing ois out until I resolve this issue. I'm having the carburator re-rebuilt since the first person that did it obviously didn't know what they were doing as I found the choke plate on backwards not providing a stop for the idel stop screw.

Once I get the carb back I will have someone check compression and find out why this cylinder isn't firing. We are getting spark and one guy says it may be a vacuum leak. At any rate, one step at a time.

Once again thanks for the info, this will come in handy when I get it running prperly.
