Will I damage the charging system by starting as is, or not? Serial number:6492172. Yes I'll hook up the water...

i'd take the cloth off the flywheel and hook up the spark plug leads, other than that you're good to go. Excess charging amperage just gets dumped to ground.

It won't start. The plug wires are off.

There must be more to this question. Pull start or using the E-starter?

No Title

Well, yeah, I was just checking before finishing up the carb rebuild, new impeller, and plugs. After that I hooked up the electrical, and used the starter along with the controls. I was just going to use a rope start method but decided to hook it up properly. The thing sat for 7 years before I acquired it. 135 compression dry when I checked that before any other work. She now runs nice and just hung her on the rebuilt toon for final tweaks for launch next weekend.
