I have a 9.8 hp mercury110- 1975 that will not run unless it is full throttle in gear and then only runs for a short time. This motor sat for about 2 yrs. I have cleaned the carb and replaced gaskets in carb and fuel pump. I have good spark in both cylinders(3/8" with tester), I disconnected the kill switch because the wires are bad. Is there any way to check if the high/low coils, switch box or spark plug coils are bad? I don't want to buy all new ones if I don't have to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
