mercury 110 9.8hp hard to start

Motor is extremely hard to start when cold...feels like I have to pull it a hundred times..runs great though so just wanna know if there's anything I can do to help this? Plugs are brand new but maybe I should try different ones?

Sound like carb needs rebuild. I was having the same problem. I rebuild the carb no more issue. Before I rebuild the carb. I just wanted to get on the water for the week, why I waited for the new kit to come in the mail. I put some premix into the combustion chambers. And it would fired right up. I would give that a try if your just trying to enjoy the day on the water.
