I didn't know Brunswick had a plant in Australia.. I new they had some Mercs built in Belgum but I thought those were under the Mariner Brand name. Maybe aChris can chime in I think he's a genuine Aussie. All I've ever seen advertised in Austrailia are Mercury/Mariners. Is your's gray or black?
I'd be suprised if it was made in Austrailia but I get Merc suprises all the time so I won't say it can't be. Hopefully someone with I6 motor knowledge will chime it. I'm pretty much a I4 and V6 guy.
