Mercury 115 vs 80 weight

NADA says my '82 80 i4 weights 250 and my 72' 115 i6 weights 270. Is this correct? The 115 seems a much more beefed up engine to weigh only 20 pounds more.

Mercury says 244 and 290 but the only difference in weight of the two would be the two additional cyls. ever thing else is the same
