I think i have a 1977 but no serial number anywhere, my problem is, to start the motor i have to put fuel in the cylinders then it starts and runs great. But if i let it stand for 30 mins then it want start again without putting fuel in the cylinder again

Could be a bad check valve in your primer bulb. When you squeeze it does it get hard, if not start there by replacing bulb. If it does not work when you try and prime it you end up creating a siphon and it pulls fuel out of the system instead of filling it.

Short of rebuilding carbs and fuel pump you may try this. When priming, keep pumping bulb after it gets hard. What your doing is forcing fuel into the system and these girls love it to get started along with some choking, they are pretty hard to flood out so try that method. You can also fill a spray bottle with some mixed gas and try spraying it in the throat vs pulling plugs.

That motor should have choke plates on the two top carbs. When you hit the choke button, the plates should close. if they do, then there is a chance the motor is not spinning enough to create a choking condition. Clean all battery cable ends. Make sure battery is fully charged.
