hi there. I am looking for some assistance with my 1996 Mercury 125 2+2.
My temperature gauge stopped working. There are four wires connected to the back of the gauge.
1. Black - Ground
2. Red - 12V
3. Blue - no idea where it goes
4. Tan - going to temp sender and reading 5.75V -> continuity is fine double checked with meter
I am not sure why there is 5.75V on tan line??? is this right?
I am looking for some input on troubleshooting this?
