Mercury 135hp engine paint

Hi all I'm about to paint my 2010 mercury optimAx cowling
My painter has asked what colour the paint is and if it is gloss,Matt or semi gloss

Why is it damaged??? If faded it will buff back up as its not painted but polished plastic. If you repaint it it will need sanded and paint for plastic(like bumpers) will need to be used and its a gloss.
