mercury 1500 tilt trim question

Does anyone know the wiring for these? Its a 1973 model. Is green down and blue up? If you put red and green to battery, will it go down??

Blue is up, green is down, and the power wire is red

so if I am trying to make it work, do I put red to positive on battery and green or blue on negative?

NO, you need a ground wire to the pump motor, a hot wire to the solinoid, a fused red going from thr solinoid to the switch, from the up switch a blue should work the solinoid and the down wire is green and goes to the green from the pump motor
