MERCURY 35hp PROP

have a 3 blade, 10.75 X 12p prop now. Good top speed but slow to plane. Have picked up a 2 blade 11 X 12p for a spare. Would 2 blade give better low end pull?

I don't think so. They were normally used for low power or higher speed applications.

You'll lose low end power. Might gain some top end speed.

HI I have a 35hp mercury redband, and I cannot work out how to remove the propeller. I have removed the castle nut and the spacer on the spline.

I cannot see how the Prop is then held in place

Any suggestions woudl be welcome
