mercury 40 Serial #2600720 I am in need of an owners maintenance book so I can prep my motor for use this season. Just got the boat and motor andneed some thoughts on what to do.

There are a number of aftermarket "Service Manuals" (Clymers and Seloc are two) and they are available at nearly any store that sells boating supplies including right here on iBoats. Factory Service manuals can be purchased from Mercury and you might even find one on Amazon.com or E-bay. You DO NOT need an OWNERS manual. They tell you nothing and are about 90% safety related information.

You could try here for an owners manual.But as Silvertip said,a maintenance manual would be better.
